It all started when…

I was commiserating with my mom about the fact that we both love country music, but in this new political era, the genre feels like it’s exclusively associated with ‘red state’ values. So I decided to write an album of new country tunes themed around progressive values, and reclaim my beloved country music! I’m filled with gratitude for my incredibly talented musician friends who were eager to contribute their time and talent to make this record happen.

Though the title says it’s “for liberals,” the values represented in this album are values for all people. My hope is that this record will infuse our challenging times with some much needed joy, motivation, and unity.
